By doors-open, months of decisions are already in the room. The photography has to prove the event worked, represent the people well and give your business material it can publish.
Campaign-ready speakers, brand detail, audience scale and the vertical and horizontal frames each channel needs.
Leadership, stakeholders and genuine interaction photographed with context—not a folder of interchangeable candids.
Priorities understood before guests arrive, low-disruption coverage on the day and no need to direct the photographer minute by minute.
John reads the run sheet, the room and the business context. That means knowing when to take position, when to stay invisible and when a moment not on the list matters more than one that is.
The coverage plan follows the program, audience and publishing needs—not a standard list copied from the last event.

You don't need every detail before getting in touch. A date, venue and rough timing is enough for me to give you an accurate quote.
Coverage starts at $550 + GST for one hour. Two hours is $800 + GST, four hours is $1,600 + GST and eight hours is $2,800 + GST. Larger, multi-day or multi-photographer events are quoted to the program.
Once the date and venue are confirmed, it is worth checking availability. Melbourne conference and end-of-year periods book earlier, but short-notice enquiries are still welcome.
The delivery deadline is agreed before the event. If communications, media or social teams need selected images the same day or next morning, flag that in the enquiry so priority delivery can be planned and quoted.
Start with the run sheet, key people, sponsor obligations, formal photographs, venue access and delivery deadline. John will identify any gaps that could affect coverage, so the organiser does not need to build a photography brief from scratch.
Yes. Parallel sessions, speakers, delegates, sponsors and formal program moments can be mapped against the run sheet. If simultaneous coverage needs more than one photographer, WP Collective can bring in trusted photographers while John remains your contact.
Yes. Auditoriums, presentation screens, mixed venue lighting and evening functions are normal event conditions. Lighting and camera technique are adapted without distracting speakers or guests.
Yes. Share priority people, sponsor obligations, signage and formal moments before the event. Those requirements are covered deliberately alongside natural interaction and room atmosphere.
Business uses and delivery formats are agreed in the quote and brief. Sharing the intended channels in advance helps John cover the right mix of wide, close, horizontal and vertical photographs.
Yes. Award recipients, leadership teams, sponsor groups or staff headshots can be scheduled alongside event coverage. Adding them to the run sheet keeps the process efficient while the right people are together.
